MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR:

My name is Linda Weise and I have been the Director at ChristChurch Presbyterian Child Development Center since July, 2006. It is such a joy to work with the dedicated members from ChristChurch Presbyterian, the wonderful staff, parents, and children at the Child Development Center.  I hope you will you find ChristChurch Presbyterian Child Development Center to be your “home away from home” too!

I have been working in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education for over thirty years. During my college years, I worked in a variety of childcare programs as infant/toddler caregiver, preschool teacher, summer camp coordinator, and curriculum coordinator. After receiving my degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, I worked as a teacher of young children for fifteen years.

The past decade, I received my master trainer certification and worked as a consultant at Initiatives For Children, a non-profit organization who provided resources and training to childcare and early education providers in Houston and surrounding counties.

I have spent over thirty years working with young children and families and can’t imagine doing anything more rewarding or important. I offer many workshops each year on a variety of child development topics and parenting issues might find helpful.
